The Rothschild’s Giraffe is currently listed in the IUCN Red List in near threatened status due to poaching, habitat loss and conflict with locals. Thankfully their population is slowly increasing due to conservation efforts such as the relocation of a large group of giraffe to a protected areea in Lake Nakuru, Kenya.
